바로크 음악에 대한 세간의 관심이 크지 않던 40년대 후반에 당대 최고의 성악가로 군림하던 질리가 몬테베르디, 칼다라, 스카를라티, 보논치니 등의 다수의 바로크 성악곡들을 녹음했다는 점이 흥미롭다. 더불어 너무나 친근한 조르다노의 카로 미오 벤과 고다르의 자장가를 만날 수 있다.
