마음의 평화를 위하여!!!

너무나 각박한 세상에 지치고 힘들어 흔들리는 이에게 평화를 주로나... 전통적인 성가라 하면 오르간의 경건하고 장엄한 분위기를 떠올린다. 어쩌면 너무나 틀에 박혀 있는 음악이라 지루하게 생각할 수 있다는 고정관념을 떨치게 하는 음반이다.

기타와 플루트, 그리고 한결 부드러워진 오르간의 울림, 잘 정리되어 울려 퍼지는 스톡홀름 대성당 합창단의 음성이 마음의 평화를 가져온다. 이 음반은 1976년 새롭게 정리된 '스웨덴 성가집'에서 뽑은 곡들로서 우리에게 너무 잘 알려진 'Spread your wings over me'가 포함되어 있다.
