캐나다 출신의 플루티스트 제프리 카너는 현재 가장 왕성한 활동을 펼치고 있는 세계적인 플루티스트이다. 미국 오케스트라의 명문인 클리블랜드와 필라델피아 오케스트라의 수석 플루티스트로 있으면서 동시에 다양한 독주 활동을 펼고 있는 그는 특히 현대 음악 분야에 있어서 탁월한 해석을 보여준다. 올 7월 내한하여 제주 페스티벌에도 참가할 예정이다.
