오르가니스트 리뷰(Organist Review), 르 몽드 드 라 뮈지크 등의 음악 전문지로부터 '최고의 오르간 푸가'라는 평가를 받았던 음반이다. 작곡된 지 200년 이상이나 미스테리로 남아있던 이 작품의 연주에서, 독주일 경우 건반악기는 대개 쳄발로가 선택되지만 이 음반에는 오르간 연주로 된 것이 담겨 있다. 많은 사람들은 이렇게 말한다.
